She has also shared her knowledge and experience as a gaited "practical" horsemanship clinician in Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, Oregon and Alaska. Gaited breeds of horses that have participated in Lynn's clinics are: Paso Finos, Walking Horses, Rocky Mountain Horses, and Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horses.

Paso Fino Horse Show Judge

In 1992, Lynn Gallup was certified as a Paso Fino Horse Association judge, and became a Senior Certified PFHA judge in 2000. After 22 years of being a Paso Fino Judge, she retired her PFHA Judges license to concentrate on her horsemanship lesson program and served as a PFHA/USEFshow steward for 3 years. Lynn is honored to have been able to serve as Paso Fino Judge for the PFHA Paso Fino Grand National Championship Show in Perry, Georgia in 2000 and 2002. She has judged the West Coast Paso Fino Championship twice; and the prestigious Piedmont Classic in Asheville, NC twice, including when it became the first USEF "A" rated Paso Fino show ever. At that time the Piedmont Classic was the largest Paso Fino regional show in the USA. She has judged 40+ PFHA shows.

Mountain Horse Show Judge

Lynn Gallup is a Senior Certified Show Judge with the Rocky Mountain Horse Association and the Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse Association/Spotted Mountain Horse Association. Lynn is honored to have judged the Rocky Mountain Horse International Show in Lexington, Kentucky in 2001, 2005, 2007, 2010, and 2012, including being the Timed Events Judge in 2009. She also judged the 2002 RMHA International Futurity Show in Lexington, Kentucky. Lynn was the Chairperson of the RMHA Show Judging Committee in 2010 and Co-Chair in 2011.

Lynn was honored to judge the 2011 and the 2013 Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse International Show at the Alltech Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. She also judged the 2007 KMSHA International Futurity in Lexington, Kentucky. Lynn helped the KMSHA Judges Director with the 2013 KMSHA Judges Clinic in Lexington, KY.

Horse Show Steward

In 2011, Lynn became a certified PFHA Paso Fino Show Steward, and an United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) "r" C2 Steward. Lynn has officiated as a steward at Paso Fino, Saddlebred, Morgan, Hackney, Roadster, and Friesian class horse shows in 2011. Since 2011, she has concentrated on stewarding Paso Fino shows, including the USEF "A" rated Asheville Alive - Piedmont Classic Show in 2012. Her PFHA show stewarding duties have been in these show locations: Miami and Ocala, Florida; Fort Worth, Texas; Asheville, North Carolina, and Ancaster, Ontario in Canada. Lynn decided her time was needed more with her own Paso Fino horses at her Gracewood Farm, and stopped stewarding in 2014. Stewarding was a valuable experience to learn and see what goes on outside of the ring in enforcing the regulations.

Lynn was the RMHA International Show Equipment Steward in 2003 and 2004. Lynn also became certified in CPR in 2011, and in case needed, for all the equine activities she is involved with.

Paso Fino Horse Show Activities

Lynn began riding Paso Finos in 1975 and first started exhibiting them in 1977 at the Piedmont PFHA and Atlantic PFOBA regional shows. She won the Reserve National Pleasure Gelding Championship on Viajero Hermoso in 1977 in Montgomery, Alabama, and numerous Atlantic and Piedmont PFHA regional High Point awards with her Paso Fino horses. Lynn continued to show actively into the 1980's winning the first National Agility Champion on Pasiflora Sin Par and other national placements in Versatility, Pleasure and Western Pleasure. Other proud owners also have enjoyed show ring success with their "de Gracia" bred Paso Finos.

More recently, Lynn supports the Piedmont PFHA regional shows, the Piedmont Futurity, the PFHA Stallion Auction and Breeders Sweepstakes class showing her "de Gracia" Paso Finos. Her 2001 gelding Teson de Gracia won a 2002 Piedmont Futurity Championship, as well as winning a PFHA National High Point Bellas Formas award.
